2 W.P.(MD)NO.16431 OF 2020 Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to pay a just and reasonable compensation of a sum of Rs.50,00,000/-(Fifty Lakhs Rupees) to the petitioner for the grave physical injuries, mental injury, emotional sufferings and permanent disability caused by the fourth respondent's temple elephant. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks adjournment. But the learned Special Government Pleader as well as the learned counsel appearing for the temple would point out that the petitioner has already obtained relief in W.P.(MD)No.16258 of 2020 on 11.01.2021 and that specific direction was given for withdrawal of this writ petition.

3. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in the matter. This writ petition stands closed. Consequently, connected M.P. is closed. No costs.
