ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(C) r/w 20(b)(ii) (B), 25, 27A, 29(1), 29(2) (a) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, in Crime No.1473 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that on 09.09.2018, the respondent police was in patrol duty, at that time the accused person found in possession of 1.100 kgs ganja and the same was seized by the respondent police and on his confession statement, the respondent police went to Vivekanandhar Nagar, Dindigul District, on the same day. At that time the respondent police identified the vehicle bearing Registration No. TN 57 S 5893 Tata Sumo Car, immediately the police intercepted the vehicle and secured other four persons and 3.500kgs of ganja was seized. Hence, the complaint. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the respondent.

4.It is seen from the records that the allegation is serious in nature, the respondent police seized 4.600 kgs ganja from the accused persons. He is not entitled to the anticipatory bail.
