ORDER

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of mandamus seeking a direction to provide electricity connection for shop at Survey No.285/4, 1/4

Thiruppathur in Sivagangai District. The petitioner had given an application on 01.06.2023.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents states that the petitioner must pay necessary charges and only then can electricity connection be granted.

3. A direction is given to the petitioner to go over to the office of the respondent and determine the charges which has to be paid and comply with all conditions, rules and regulations. If the application is in order and if the petitioner is otherwise eligible and if necessary charges had been paid, then from the date when the charge has been paid, the respondent may provide necessary connection within a period of two further weeks.
