This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing 1st respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 19.09.2020 and to cancel the patta granted in favour of the 3rd respondent.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents. 3.It is seen from the records that the petitioner had already filed an appeal before the Sub Collector, Tuticorin and the Sub Collector, through proceedings dated 13.10.2020 had disposed of the appeal by issuing certain directions. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the same, the 2/4

petitioner has to challenge the proceedings of the Sub Collector and the petitioner cannot once again file a writ petition seeking for a mandamus tof dispose of his representation. This Court does not find any merits in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
