ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking Mandamus, directing the respondent Police to grant permission and provide adequate police protection for conducting 'Aadalum Paadalum' dance programme on 24.05.2026 in connection with the festival at Arulmighu Sri Pattathalachi Amman Kovil in Palayapalayam, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 06.05.2026.

2. Considering the averments in the petition, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to grant permission and provide police protection to the petitioner for conducting 'Aadalum Paadalum' programme on 24.05.2026. It is made clear that the function shall be completed before 10.00 PM on the said date.

3. The petitioner is also directed to strictly comply with the Circular issued by the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu in Rc.007301/Genl.I(1)/2019 dated 09.04.2019.
