This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondent to provide the petitioner full time Personal Security Officer based on his representation dated 10.03.2017.

2.It is seen that the petitioner is a political activists and he apprehends threat to his life. In this regard, he has given a representation on 10.03.2017 to the respondent seeking police security.

3.In the considered opinion of this Court a direction as prayed for cannot be granted because giving of individual security to a person depends upon the threat perception. However, the respondent is directed to examine the request of the petitioner and take action in accordance with law.

4.With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
