O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.64 of 2019 pending on the file of the first respondent police.

2. The case of the prosecution is that due to previous enmity, on 14.02.2019 at about 10.30 p.m., the petitioners abused the third and fourth respondents in filthy language, attacked them with iron rod on their head and caused injuries and also they damaged the hotel properties to the tune of Rs.1,25,000/-.

3. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the issue has been amicably resolved between the parties.

4. The petitioners have been charged for the offence under 2/4

Sections 294(b), 324, 379 of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Public Property (Prevention of Damage and Loss) Act, 1992. Considering the nature of offence, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition on the ground of compromise.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with a liberty to the petitioners to workout their remedy in the manner known to law.
