Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to pay interest at the rate of 18% per annum, for the period of delay from 01.07.2018 to 21.09.2019, in paying the amounts paid towards the terminal benefits of the petitioner namely, EPF Employees' Contribution, Gratuity and Encashment of earned / sick leaves, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court and without affecting the petitioner's right to claim balance amounts towards those benefits.

SUB A(MD) No.293 of 2021 Mr.J.Senthil Kumaraiah, learned counsel takes notice for the petitioner/ contemnor and Mr.S.Arunachalam, learned counsel takes notice for the respondent/petitioner.

2. This Sub Application has been filed by the petitioner/contemnor seeking six months time for reporting compliance of the order passed by this Court. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner/contemnor seeks four weeks time to comply with the order of this Court. 4.In view of the above, four weeks time is granted to comply with the order of this Court. However, it is made clear that in case, the petitioner/contemnor fail to comply with the order passed by this Court, a statutory notice will be issued against them on the next hearing date.
