ORDER

The petitioner/defacto complainant has approached this Court that the second respondent Police has not conducted the investigation in Cr.No.466 of 2024 and therefore, he seeks transfer of investigation. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submits that the investigation in Cr.No.466 of 2024 has been completed and final report has also been filed before the concerned Magistrate Court on 15.06.2025 through E.Filing and the same is yet to be numbered.

3.Since the final report has already been filed in Cr.No.466 of 2024, this criminal original petition is closed. Mere filing of final report through E-filing is not enough. It is the duty of the second respondent Police to ensure that the final report is taken on file, within a reasonable time.
