.. in W.P.(MD)No.8291 of 2020 dated 29.07.2020 and W.P.(MD)No.17579 of 2022 dated 14.08.2023 and petitioner representation dated 04.05.2026. For Petitioner : Mr.S.Sivasubramanian For Respondents : Mr.A.Baskaran Additional Government Pleader

ORDER

The grievance of the petitioner is that, every year, a drama stage is being set up right in front of the petitioner's house for the performance of the drama. The petitioner is willing to offer an alternative site for locating the said drama stage, which would also be convenient. As a matter of fact, in the earlier year, when the petitioner approached this Court with the very same grievance in W.P. (MD)No.17579 of 2022, the respondents 1 and 3 to 5 themselves submitted that they would consider the petitioner's representation and shift the drama stage to another location.

2. In view thereof, the petitioner should not be driven to approach this Court every year. The representation of the petitioner dated 04.05.2026 shall be considered forthwith by the fifth respondent and, in view of the undertaking given

earlier in W.P.(MD)No.17579 of 2022, the same shall be considered not only for this year but also for the ensuing years. Suitable instructions may be issued in this regard. The petitioner is offering an alternative site, which may also be considered, and the fifth respondent shall issue appropriate instructions to locate the drama stage in such alternative location, as the case may be.

3. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents shall inform the fifth respondent, and the fifth respondent need not wait for a copy of this order. In any event, the parties shall act in accordance with the web copy of the order.
