This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned order of the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.129/Kaa.Thu.Ka/Usilai/2023, dated 17.06.2023 and also seeking direction to the respondents to grant permission for the Adal Padal in Arulmigu Muthalamman Temple 28.06.2023.
2.Mr.R.Suresh Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) takes notice for the respondents.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the representation that was made by the petitioner, seeking permission to conduct the Adal Padal Programme during the temple festival. The was was rejected by the third respondent. Challenging the above said order, this writ petition has been filed.
4.Even though the representation made by the petitioner was 2/5
rejected by the third respondent, an official from the third respondent police is present before this Court and has stated that if fresh representation is given by the petitioner, it will be considered by them. 5.Let the petitioner give fresh representation to the third respondent, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The same shall be disposed of by the third respondent immediately, on its own merits, by following the order following the order of the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court passed in the case of C.Sathasivam Vs. The Superintendent of Police, Trichy District and another, in W.P.(MD).No.12535 of 2023, dated 24.05.2023 and in the light of the circular of the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu, Chennai in Rc.007301/Genl.I (1)/2019 dated 09.04.2019. 6.With the above said directions, this writ petition stands disposed of.
