Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.11.2015 and to issue separate patta and measure the petitioner's land the correct measurement T.S.No.19 of an extent of 0.95.5 hec. situated in old Survey Nos.461 of an extent of 1 acre 20 cents and 462/2 of an extent of 1 acre 16 cents at Korappoor Area, Senthamedu, Kodaikanal Taluk, Dindigul District T.S.No.29 of an extent of 0.73.0 hec.

2. By consent, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3. The petitioner, in his representation dated 30.11.2015, addressed to the District Collector, Dindigul, Revenue Divisional Officer and the Tahsildar/respondent (in writ petition), had prayed for inspection of the lands in T.S.Nos.19 and 29 at Kodaikanal Nagar, Ward-D, Block No.26.
4. In the said representation, the petitioner has eared his grievance that the measurement was shown as lesser extent and Patta was granted and in this regard, he had enclosed the necessary documents.

5. Considering the fact that the petitioner is seeking only the limited relief in his representation dated 30.11.2015,
addressed to the District Collector, Dindigul and two others, at this stage, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, in the interest of justice, directs the respondent/Tahsildar, Kodaikanal, Dindigul District to look into the representation of the petitioner, dated 30.11.2015 in a fair, free, unbiased and dispassionate manner and to dispose of the said representation, by passing a reasoned order on merits, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

It is open to the respondent/Tahsildar, Kodaikanal, Dindigul District to call for copies of relevant documents/records from the petitioner and in such an event, the petitioner is to supply the same and to lend his assistance and unstinted cooperation so as to enable the respondent to dispose of his representation dated 30.11.2015, in a complete and comprehensive manner and to give a quietes once and for all in the subject matter in issue.
7. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
