ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents from issuing patta in respect of the property situated in the public pathway on the southern side of the petitioner's house at Door No. 1/89, Kulasekaramangalam, Sankarankovil Taluk, Tenkasi District, on the basis of the panchayat records, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 10.05.2023, and legal notice dated 16.05.2023.
2. Heard the arguments of Mr.K.Sankar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader, for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.C.Satheesh, learned Government Advocate, for the third respondent and perused materials available on record.
3. In the representation dated 10.05.2023, the petitioner has not 2/5
furnished a proper description of the public pathway referred to in his prayer. Unless the survey number and other relevant details of the property are mentioned, the respondents may not be in a position to determine whether it is, in fact, a public pathway. Since the representation submitted by the petitioner is vague, this Court is not inclined to issue any direction to the respondents to consider the same.

Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed, with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the second respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If such representation is filed within the stipulated time, the second respondent shall consider the same and pass final orders on its own merits, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and other interested parties, within a further period of eight (8) weeks.
