O R D E R

(Order of the Court by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.,) The petitioner is before this Court seeking for a direction upon the third respondent / Tahsildar, Kalkulam Taluk to grant Community Certificate for his daughter Reshma.

2. The petitioner as well as his wife have already been issued Community Certificate stating that they belong to Vannan Community, which is classified as Scheduled Caste in Kanniyakumari https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

District. Since the Community Certificate for the daughter is essential to enable her to pursue further studies, the petitioner submitted a representation before the respondents, on 02.12.2016, for grant of Community Certificate and since the same was not considered, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. The Additional Government Pleader, on instructions from the respondents, would submit that as of now the procedure is to make online application alone and after due verification, orders will be passed.

4. Considering the new system, which has been followed by the respondents, we direct the petitioner to file online application for grant of Community Certificate giving full particulars and if the same is in order, the third respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of application through online.

5. With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
