O R D E R

This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 20.02.2017 in the light of the proceedings of the Assistant Commissioner of Labour (Conciliation), Trichy in Na.Ka.No.A/039/2016, dated 18.04.2016 within the stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthaiah, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer in the Writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court is inclined to issue the following direction:- "The respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.02.2017, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
