ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the accused persons in Crime No.0274 of 2026 on the file of the first respondent police, seeking to quash the First Information Report, wherein they are alleged to have committed for the offences under Sections 191(2), 191(3), 329(4), 296(b) and 351(3) of BNS, 2023, Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman (Amendment) Act, 2002 and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Medicare Service Persons and Medicare Service Institutions (Prevention of Violence and Damage or Loss to Property) Act, 2008.

2. Pending investigation, the parties have entered into a compromise wherein the defacto complainant had agreed for quashing of the charge sheet.

3. Today, the defacto complainant is present in-person and he acknowledges the fact that he had agreed for quashing of the charge sheet.

4. Considering the above said facts, the First Information Report in Crime No.0274 of 2026 on the file of the Thenkarai Police Station, Theni District, is hereby quashed.
