ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 herein to allow the husband namely Renganathan aged 52 years, life convict No.3804, to continue the treatment in the Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Research Centre, Madurai, at the cost of the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. On the orders passed by this Court, the petitioner's husband Renganathan, a life convict No.3804, was taking treatment in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit of Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Research Centre at Madurai and his leave was extended from time to time on the orders of this Court. By order dated 09.03.2016, his leave was extended upto 21.04.2016.

4. Today, when the matter was called, the learned counsel for

the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's husband has recovered from illness and he is ready to get back to the prison.

5. In view of the above, this petition is closed with a direction to the prison authorities to lodge the petitioner's husband for undergoing the period of sentence. No costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (T&P) /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To
