Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the respondents to effect the secure of absconding accused viz 1) Manoharan(A1), 2)Dhanalakshmi(A2), 3) Pavani (A3) 4) Selvi(A4), 5) Murugayee(A5), Mariyammal (A6) in Crime No.197 of 2018 under Sections 147,148,294(b), 323, 354 and 506(ii) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act pending before the second respondent.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to secure the accused persons who according to the petitioner are absconding.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the First Information Report was registered on 04.07.2018 and the investigation is pending. There is also counter complaint given by the accused persons and the same is also investigated by the respondent police.

3. In the facts and circumstance of the case, this Court cannot issue direction as sought for by the petitioner. The investigation is within the realm of the police and if the police during the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ course of investigation, deems it fit to arrest any person they may

do so. A positive direction to that effect cannot be issued by this Court.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
