*********** Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner seeks issuance of a writ of Mandamus for directing the respondents 2 and 3 to conduct interview for filling up the post of Office Assistant in the third respondent Union. The Writ Petition was filed on 16.08.2016.

3.The learned counsel for the third respondent/Union would point out that the interview was actually conducted on 04.08.2016 and the petitioner had also participated in that interview. He produced a copy of the proceedings also. Therefore, there is no merit in the Writ Petition and the same liable to be dismissed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.It is however brought to the notice of this Court that one Veeralakshmi was selected in the interview but that she did not join

duty on account of the interim orders passed by this Court. It is also seen from the materials enclosed in the typed set of papers that the said Veeralakshmi was appointed as Noon Meal Organiser on May 2017. Therefore, as on date the post of Office Assistant is vacant. It is open to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation.

5.The Writ Petition is dismissed with the aforesaid observation. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
