(Crime No.18 of 2023) ... 1st and 2nd Respondents/Complainants 3.Anandharaj ... 3rd Respondent/Defacto Complainant Prayer : This Criminal Appeal is filed under Section 14(A)(2) of the Schedule Caste and the Schedule Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, to call for the records pertaining to the order dated 13.06.2023 in Crl.M.P.No.1846 of 2023 on the file of Sessions Judge, Special Court for Trial of SC/ST (POA) , Act Cases (FAC), Virudhunagar District at Srivilliputtur, and to set aside the same and enlarge the appellant on bail in Crime No.18 of 2023 on the file of the first respondent by

allowing this Criminal Appeal.

ORDER:- This Criminal Appeal Petition is coming on for orders on this day under the caption "Extension of time " and upon perusing earlier order of this Court dated 04.07.2023 and the requisition letter submitted by the Sessions Judge, Special Court for trial of cases registered under SC/ST (POA) Act, Srivilliputhur in D.No.906/2023 Dated 04.12.2023 seeking further extension of time for 3 months time to dispose of the case in Spl.S.C.No.32 of 2023 on the file of the Special Court for trial of cases registered under SC/ST (POA) Act, Srivilliputhur, this Court made the following order:- This case has been listed today under the caption 'for extension of time' to dispose of the case in Spl.S.C.No.32 of 2023. 2.This Court has already disposed of the Criminal Appeal by judgment dated 04.07.

2023 and directed the trial Court to complete the trial in Spl.S.C.No.32 of 2023 on the file of the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for Trial of SC/ST (PoA) Act Cases (FAC), Virudhunagar District at Srivilliputhur, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order. Since the learned Sessions Judge could not comply with the order of this Court, he has sought for extension of time to complete the trial.

3.Considering the reasons assigned by the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for Trial of SC/ST (PoA) Act Cases (FAC), Virudhunagar District at Srivilliputhur, this Court is inclined to grant further time and accordingly, three

months time is granted for disposing Spl.S.C.No.32 of 2023 and the learned Sessions Judge is also directed to comply with the directions of this Court, without any further delay.
