Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.02.2017 and consequently to direct the first respondent to instruct the third respondent to conduct the enquiry as well as Peace Committee Meeting in order to resolve the dispute regarding the celebration of the Panguni Uthiram Festival to be held on 09.04.2017 in Arul Mighu Sri Pooludaiyar Sastha Thirukovil, situating in Keezhakallamparai, Thenthirupperai Village, Tiruchendur Taluk, Tuticorin District, within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court. ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the first respondent to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
give necessary direction to the third respondent to conduct a Peace Committee Meeting to resolve the problem in conducting temple festival mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.
2.Mr.K.Guru, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.
3.It is seen from the records that on 27.02.2017 a representation has been given to the first respondent and the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.
4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the first respondent is strictly directed to look into the representation dated 27.02.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of one week.
