ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner based on the representation, dated 09.07.2022 within stipulated time. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the owner of the property in Survey Nos.162/8, 162/9, 162/15, 162/16, 162/20, 162/21, 162/31, 161/18, 162/19, 162/23, 162/24, 162/25, 163/14, 162/25, Mullipadi Village, Kadavur Taluk, Karur District. The respondents 4 to 6 are no way connected to the above said petitioner's properties. Without having any right over the properties, they threatened the petitioner and are demanding money. Hence, he gave a complaint to the third respondent police, on the basis of which, the third respondent police issued C.S.R.No.300 of 2022. But, so far, no action was taken. Therefore, he filed this petition for seeking police protection.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner gave a complaint against the 4th respondent before the third respondent. The third respondent police received the complaint from the petitioner and C.S.R.No.300 of 2022 was given. After the enquiry, the same was closed. Again the petitioner gave a representation on 2/4

09.07.2022 before the third respondent police seeking police protection. 4.Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the third respondent police is directed to consider the petitioners' representation, dated 09.07.2022 and take suitable action on merits within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With a above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
