PRAYER :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 5th and 6th respondents to survey and mark the boundaries of land comprised in the survey No.106/8 and 106/9 situated at Kallumadi Poolankulam Village, Thiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District and consequently direct the 5th and 6th respondents to issue a report on the survey for making a patta transfer application. The writ petition has been filed in the nature of mandamus seeking a direction against the respondents 5 and 6, to survey the land in Survey No. 106/8 and 106/9 at Kallumadi village, Pulvaikarai, Thiruchuli Taluk in

2. The land had been settled by the father of the petitioner in favour of the petitioner. But the petitioner has other brothers and sisters. Before conducting survey, a direction is given to respondents 5 and 6 to issue notice to the brother and sisters of the petitioner and thereafter if there are no objections, 2/4

proceed further to conduct survey. If there are objections, a report may be filed. Placing that caveat on the respondents 5 and 6, it is directed that the entire exercise must be completed within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
