ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to grant permission and give adequate police protection to conduct Adal Padal Cultural event on guise of 77th Annual Festival of Arulmighu Muthumari Amman Temple on 23.05.2026. 2.Considering the averments set out in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to grant permission and provide police protection for the abovesaid function. It is made clear that the function shall be completed before 10.00 pm on 23.05.2026. In case of any obscene dances, the second respondent shall interfere and stop the function.

3.With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
