[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the second respondent to grant permission for conducting Adal Padal on 15.01.2017 in the place mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus.

2.Mr.M.Govindan, learned Special Government Pleader has taken notice for the respondents.

3.It is seen from the records that on 26.12.2016, a representation has been given by the petitioner, but the same has not been considered.

4.Considering the aforesaid circumstances, the following order can be passed.

5.In fine, this Writ Petition is allowed in part without cost. The second respondent viz., Inspector of Police, Narikudi Police Station, Virudhunagar District is directed to look into the representation dated 26.12.2016 and dispose of the same immediately.
