ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 21.11.2016 alleged to have been given by the petitioner, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus. 2.Mr.M.Govindan, learned Special Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has contended to the effect that the petitioner has given a representation on 21.11.2016 with regard to irregularities committed by the erstwhile President of Mayilappapuram Village Panchayat, who amassed wealth disproportionate to her regular income, but the first respondent has not considered the same and under the said circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed for getting the relief sought therein.

4.Considering the nature of allegation made in the representation dated 21.11.2016 and also considering the fact that the respondents have not considered the same, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

5.In fine, this writ petition is allowed without costs and the first respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 21.11.2016 and dispose of the same within a period of fifteen days.
