Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent i.e., the District Collector, Ramanathapuram to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 26.03.2015 regarding refixation of his pay in the cadre of Selection Grade Rural Welfare Officer Grade-II as per the letter No.30556/2015/GE/2.4 dated 08.05.2015 of the Director of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Chennai within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Honourable Court. ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent i.e., the District Collector, Ramanathapuram to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 26.03.2015 regarding refixation of his pay in the cadre of Selection Grade Rural Welfare Officer Grade-II, as per the Letter No.30556/2015/GE/2.4 dated 08.05.2015 of the Director of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Chennai within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 2.Having regard to the limited relief sought for, without

expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.03.2015 seeking refixation of his pay in the cadre of Selection Grade Rural Welfare Officer Grade-II, in the light of Letter No.30556/2015/GE/2.4, dated 08.05.2015 of the Director of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Chennai, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of two months preferably on or before 31.03.2017.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
