ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 75(1)(i), 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, Section 67 of Information Technology Act, 2000 and Section 4 of Tamilnadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002, in Crime No.20 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and her husband came to the house of the defacto complainant and mixed sedative medicine in the defacto complainant's milk shake, due to which, she became unconscious. Further, the petitioner and her husband have harassed the defacto complainant and threatened her with dire consequences. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and she has not committed any offences as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready and willing to abide by any conditions which may be imposed by this Hon'ble Court. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the investigation is still pending and co-accused had already been arrested and remanded to judicial custody. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the investigation is at initial stage and also considering the fact that co-accused had already been arrested and remanded to judicial custody. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. No costs.
