This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant necessary compensation for the death of the petitioner's son, K. Hariharan, aged about 15 years, died on 05.05.2023 2/5

due to the negligence of the respondents No.6 to 8 and take necessary action against them, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 22.05.2023, within the period stipulated by this Court .

It is the case of the petitioner that due to the negligence on the part of respondent Nos.6 to 8, the petitioner's son and the grandchildren of the petitioner's brother-in-law came into contact with the electric iron fencing and were electrocuted. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents on 22.05.2023 seeking compensation for the death of the petitioner's son. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has approached this Court.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 2 would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 22.05.2023 would be considered in accordance with law.

4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the fifth respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.05.2023 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
