Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents No.1 to 8 to take immediate necessary action to bring dead body of the petitioner's husband from Riyath, Saudi Arabia and hand over the body to the Petitioner for performing final rites at Poiyalur, Varivayal, Padanthanpatti, Karaikudi, Sivagangai District within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

The Petitioner in W.P.(MD) No.5953 of 2017 has approached this Court seeking a direction to the Respondents No.1 to 8 to take immediate necessary action to bring dead body of the petitioner's husband from Riyath, Saudi Arabia and hand over the body to the Petitioner for performing final rites at Poiyalur, Varivayal, Padanthanpatti, Karaikudi, Sivagangai District within a time frame.

2.When the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the prayer sought for in the writ petition has been complied with. 3.In view of the same, there is no issue survives for consideration in this Writ Petition. Therefore, this Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
