The petitioner has come up with the Writ Petition for issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records culminated in the impugned summons in F.No.T-3/6/Misc/JPR/2011/303, dated 23.02.2017 issued by the respondent and to quash the same as illegal.

2. Mr.K.K.Senthilvelan, learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner is conducting a business at
Jaipur and they have received Foreign Direct Investments to the tune of Rs.94,78,160/-. Hence the respondent issued a show cause notice seeking explanation, for which the petitioner has also submitted a reply. Having not satisfied with the reply, the respondent issued the impugned notice asking the petitioner to produce some documents. It is further submitted that the investigation is at preliminary stage and unless the petitioner produces the documents required by the respondent, the issue could not be decided and there is no error in issuing show cause notice.
3. Considering the above fact, this Court is of the opinion that there is no necessity to quash the summon impugned in the Writ Petition and I do not find any merits in this writ petition.
4. In the result, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is dismissed.
