This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to call for records of the 2nd respondent pursuant to his notification, dated Nil for the recruitment of Deputy Traffic Manager and quash the same and consequently, direct the 2nd respondent to commence fresh selection process by maintaining transparency and to follow basic rules in respect of the selection for the post of Deputy Traffic Manager.

2. Today, when the matter was taken for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that subsequent to the filing of the Writ Petition, the appointment has been made and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition.

3. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is given liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
