ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to provide adequate police protection for laying access road from State Highways to the petitioner's fuel station. 2.A perusal of the records revealed that the State Highways Department as well as the Commissioner of Police had granted no objection certificate to the petitioner for putting up service road from State Highways to his fuel station. Despite the said no objection certificates issued by both the authorities, some local miscreants are creating trouble and objecting for laying service road to the petitioner's fuel station. Hence the petitioner has given a representation on 16.05.2026 to the third respondent seeking police protection. 2/4

3.In view of aforesaid facts, the third respondent is directed to provide police protection to the petitioner on prior intimation for laying service road based upon the no objection certificates granted by the State Highways as well as the Commissioner of Police. This writ petition stands allowed to the extent as stated above. No costs.
