Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to observe the petitioner in any job in the Madurai Corporation on the basis of experience obtained by her while working in Thiruparankundram Municipality, which is now included in the limits of the Corporation by considering her representation dated 05.08.2018 within stipulated period of time.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to observe the petitioner in obtained by her while working in Thiruparankundram Municipality, which is now included in the limits of the Corporation by considering her representation dated 05.08.2018.

2.Mr.S.Dhayalan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the first respondent and Mr.R.Murali, learned counsel takes notice for the second respondent. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final hearing at the stage of admission itself. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is working as a Section Writer in Statistics and Water Supply Department and observed as daily wages worker. For the purpose of regularise the work of the workers in the corporation, some names of the temporary workers, including the staff worked on daily wages basis, were recommended. But in the said list, the petitioner's name was not recommended. In this regard, the petitioner made a representation dated 05.08.2018 to the respondents.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner dated 05.08.2018 is disposed of, in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 05.08.2018 in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, and pass appropriate orders within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if there are no legal impediments.

6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
