For Respondent : Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.201 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 364 @ 147, 364(A) and 506(i) IPC in Crime No.201 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant lodged a complaint stating that on 02.07.2022 the father of the defacto complainant have some morning walk, he did not return to home after 6.30 am., When he made search, on enquiry, he was informed that his father was kidnapped by some unknown person in car towards Keeranur. Hence, complaint.

3. The counsel for the petitioner submitted that co-accused has been arrested and released on bail. So far as this petitioner is concerned he accommodated the co-accused. Except with no other allegation is attributed against him.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the petitioner is arrayed as A9 and it is the case of kidnapping for ransom and the investigation is pending.

5. Since it is a case of kidnapping for ransom, the petitioner is not entitled for discretionary relief of anticipatory bail.

6.Accordingly, this Criminal original Petition is dismissed.
