ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 01.03.2017 and correct his grand father's name as Velappanaicker instead of Kenganaicker in the Village Records and Patta in Patta No.136 in Natham Sy. No.113/31 to the extent of 3 1⁄2 cents situated at Deivaseyalpuram North Street, Srivaikundam Taluk, Thoothukudi District within a time stipulated by this Court. 2.Heard Both sides.

3.The petitioner's grievance is that he had filed an appeal on 01.03.2017 before the first respondent herein and so far, the same has been kept pending without any consideration. In view of the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into merits of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 01.03.2017, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.With the above direction this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
