Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to solve the issue between the village people of the petitioner and the village people of the respondents 4 to 8, which is pending before him, within a time frame and to permit the petitioner's village people to conduct the festival for Sri Madurai Veeran Swamy and Sri Mariamman Swamy Temple, which has been situated at Pavithram Village, Pugalur Taluk, Karur District as usual for every year, by fixing the competent dates. ORDER
The present writ petition is filed for a mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to solve the issue between the village people of the petitioner and the village people of the respondents 4 to 8 and permit the petitioner's village people to conduct the festival.

2. This Court directed both the petitioner and the respondents 4 to 8 to deposit a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) each. The petitioner has already deposited a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only). The learned counsel appearing for the private respondents would submit that he is ready to deposit a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only).

In such circumstances, the petitioner and the private respondents are permitted to conduct the village festival on a condition that they should deposit a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) each in favour of the Government Orphanage, Madurai, Savings Bank Account No. 37487255860, IFSC: SBIN0007922, within a period of one week from today. In case, the said amount has already been deposited by the parties, the same shall be withdrawn and redeposit to the credit of Savings Bank Account No.37487255860, IFSC: SBIN0007922. On such deposit being made, the petitioner and the private respondents shall conduct the village festival inclusively without any discrimination. The notice shall be printed in the name of all villagers and there cannot be any mention of any specific community or any specific family members name. 3/6
4. With these directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, the rights of the parties shall be determined independently/uninfluenced by the order passed by this Court. No costs. 16.07.2025 NCC :yes/No Index :yes/No Internet:yes/No rgm 4/6
