ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks direction to the respondents to survey the property situated in Survey No.344/1C with an extent of 12.00 Ares in Karadikkkal Village, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District by considering his application dated 12.08.2024 and subsequent representation dated 05.06.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents.

3. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4. It is the case of the petitioner that subject property is an ancestral property and the patta for the said property stands in the name of the petitioner in Patta No.2652. The petitioner submitted an online application before the respondents on 12.08.2024 in kD vz;.2024/0123/24/006971 and the same has not been considered by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

5. Mr.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that there was an objection by the neighbouring land owner, therefore, survey process could not be completed.

In view of the same, without expression any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court is inclined to direct the respondents to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 12.08.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, neighboring land owners and the other interested parties.

7. With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
