Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to pass orders on the peace meeting proceedings conducted by the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.No.50/2016/A6 dated 01.08.2016 and till such a time directing the 3rd and 4th respondents to maintain status quo in respect of the temple festival of Arulmigu Adaikalam Katha Ayyanar Temple so as to ensure the participation of the petitioner and others who are having hereditary right as Opparaitharagal over the said temple. This Writ Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the third respondent to pass orders on the peace meeting proceedings conducted by the third respondent in Na.Ka.No.50/2016/A6 dated 01.08.2016 and till such time, direct https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the respondents 3 and 4 to maintain status quo in respect of the temple festival of Arulmigu Adaikalam Katha Ayyanar Temple so as to ensure the participation of the petitioner and others. 2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents 1 to 4.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that at the request of the fourth respondent herein/Inspector of Police, Manamelkudi Police Station, a Peace Committee Meeting was conducted and no solution can be arrived at and therefore, parties are directed to work out their remedy in the Civil Court.

5.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents 1 to 4, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. Therefore, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Connected WMP(MD)No.11328 of 2016 is closed.
