O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the records of the respondent in Na.Ka.Thi.4/0154/2017, dated 27.01.2017 and quash the same and direct the respondent to reinstate the petitioner.
2.Heard Mr.J.Gunaseelan Mauthiah, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.
3.Though the writ petition has been filed for issuing a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus seeking positive direction to quash the order dated 27.01.2017 and to direct the respondent to reinstate the petitioner, the learned counsel for the petitioner would request this court that the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is issued to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.02.2017 and 08.03.2017 requesting the respondents to revoke the order of suspension within a time stipulated by this court. 4.The order impugned in the present writ petition is the order suspending the petitioner in view of the registration of a criminal case against the petitioner and the arrest of the petitioner following the registration of the complaint. The criminal case registered against the petitioner is at the instance of an https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
individual for the alleged offences under Section 436 of Indian Penal Code.
5.Having regard to the nature of criminal case and the representations of the petitioner for revocation of suspension, this court is inclined to pass the following direction. "The respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.03.2017 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
6.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
