O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent / Special Officer to restore the dislodged drinking water connection to the petitioner's house of Door No.2/128 situated at Keezhapillaiyar Kovil Street, Oormelalikiyan Post, Kadayanallur Taluk, on the basis of his representations dated 30.01.2017, 22.02.2017 and 01.03.2017.

2. After arguing for some time, it is pointed out to the learned counsel for the petitioner that the order disconnecting the supply of water dated 10.01.2017 is not put to challenge. Therefore, the present writ petition seeking only issuance of Mandamus is not maintainable in the face of the order passed by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the authority. Hence, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to file a fresh writ petition challenging the proceedings of the competent authority disconnecting the water supply.

3. In view of the same, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner as indicated above. No costs.
