[Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

2. The petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider his representation No.4086/2016 dated 08.08.2016.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he belongs to Hindu Malaivedan Schedule Tribe Community. The petitioner submitted a representation on 08.08.2016 before the respondent seeking issuance of community certificates to his wife and the daughters. Since no action has been taken by the respondents, the petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader, taking notice for the respondent, submitted that a reasonable time may be granted to the respondent to consider the said representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. In view of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.08.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording sufficient opportunity to the petitioner, his wife and his daughters. The petitioner is directed to enclose a copy of the representation along with a copy of this order and forward the same to the respondent. The respondent is directed to comply with the said direction within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
