O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent No. 3 to conduct enquiry and cancel the patta No.4516 issued in the name of one Vadivel Nadar, S/o.Yacobu Nadar, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 10.05.2023.

2. Heard the arguments of Mr.A.B.Jeeva, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Jeya Priya, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4. Since no adverse orders is going to be passed against the respondents 5 to 7, notice to them is dispensed with.

3. According to the petitioner, he owns 19 cents of land in S.No. 366/2B2 in Uthumalai Revenue Village, V.K.Pudur Taluk, Tenkasi District. The patta for the said property stands in the name of the petitioner in patta No.4412. Later, patta was transferred in the name of one Vadivel Nadar, S/o.Yacobu Nadar, behind the back of the petitioner. 2/4

Hence, he submitted a representation on 10.05.2023 before the official respondents seeking cancellation of the patta issued in the name of Vadivel Nadar, S/o.Yacobu Nadar. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law.

5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.05.2023 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the private respondents 5 to 7 and the above mentioned Vadivel Nadar, S/o.Yacobu Nadar.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
