ORDER

The petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition for a Mandamus, directing the respondent to pay the petitioner, advance amount of Rs.1,50,000/- from the accumulation of employee's contribution stood in his E.P.F. Account No.TN/17712/0, forthwith.

2.Mr.P.Balasubramanian, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondent. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3.According to the petitioner, he was working as a Driver in the respondent Corporation. Now, he is in need of money to meet out his medical expenses and re-pay the loan amount borrowed by him and therefore, he made a representation to the respondent on 10.06.2019, but no action has been taken so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

4.Considering the limited scope of the matter, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 10.06.2019 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above direction. No costs.
