O R D E R

The Petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to the Respondent No.2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.02.2017 in accordance with law with in a time frame. 2.According to the petitioner, she and her daughter were residing in the address given in the writ petition for the past 15 years. After she obtained divorce from her husband, she is working as a teacher in a private school and though she had initially lived with her father along with her daughter, because of her father's waywardness she has to move out of parental home and started living separately with her daughter. Since she and her daughter constituted a separate family, she had submitted a representation on 15.02.

2017 to the second respondent for issuance of separate family ration card by deleting her name and her daughter's name from her parent's ration card No.17/G/0508748. But according to the petitioner, inspite of her efforts in pursuing the representation no action was forthcoming from the respondents. In the said circumstances, she has approached this Court for issuance of a writ of Mandamus. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.

3.Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, the learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent and has no objection for issuing the direction as sought for by the petitioner.

4.In view of the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the following direction:

The second respondent is directed to consider the representation said to have been made by the petitioner on 15.02.2017 and if the petitioner is otherwise eligible issue a ration card on the basis of her representation within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There is no order as to costs.
