O R D E R

This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 10.08.2016 sent for the purpose of seeking promotion to the post of Warden in the cadre of B.T. Assistant Teacher, as expeditiously as possible particularly within the stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthaiyah, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer in the Writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court is inclined to issue the following direction:- "The first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 10.08.2016, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
