PRAYER :- To modify the condition No.6(b) imposed in Crl.OP(MD).No.9015 of 2025 dated 21.05.2025.
ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- This petition has been filed to modify the condition No.6(b) imposed in Crl.OP (MD).No.9015 of 2025 dated 21.05.2025.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioners have filed an anticipatory bail application before this Court on 20.05.2025 in Crl.OP.(MD). No.9015 of 2025. The said anticipatory bail petition was heard and on 21.05.2025, this Hon'ble Court was pleased to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners with certain conditions. In the said anticipatory bail order, Para.6(b) as follows: ''(b). The petitioners shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.30a.m. For a period of 30 days and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation.''
3. He further submits that on 28.05.2025, onwards, the petitioners abiding the said condition without any deviation. The first petitioner is a working women at School Education Department, Trichy as an accountant. Both the petitioners travel 30Kms from their residence to comply the said condition. Due the above said condition, the petitioners are not able to attend their work regularly. Hence, the 2/4
petitioners seek indulgence of this court by modifying the said condition imposed against them. Hence, he prays for modification of the said condition.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent has not raised any objection to allow this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition.
5. Considering the submissions made by the learned Counsel for the Petitioners and being satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, this Court is inclined to modify the Condition No.6(b) in the order made in Crl.O.P(MD).No.9015 of 2025 dated 21.05.2025. Accordingly, Condition No.6(b) is modified as ''(b). The petitioners shall report before the respondent police weekly once, i.e., on every Saturday at 10.30a.m. until further orders.''. The other conditions shall remain unaltered.
