Respondents PRAYER: Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records connected with the detention order of the 2nd respondent in Detention Order S.R.No.71/Goonda/2021, dated 14.08.2021 and quash the same and to direct the respondents to produce the body or person of the detenu, by name, Arjun @ Arjunan, son of Anbalagan, aged about 26 years, now confining as 'Goonda' at Madurai Central Prison, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

Today when the matter was taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that as per G.O.Rt.No.5104, Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) Department, dated 29.10.2021, the detention order has been revoked.

2. In view of the same, nothing survives in this Habeas Corpus Petition and therefore this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
