PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, directing the respondent police to expedite the investigation in connection with Crime No.274 of 2022 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Valliyoor Police Station, Tirunelveli District and conclude the same within a time frame as specified by this Court and to file the final report forthwith.

For Petitioner : Mr.B.Jeyakumar For Respondents : Mr.B.Nambiselvan Additional Public Prosecutor for R.1 O RDER This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent police to expedite the investigation in connection with Crime No.274 of 2022 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Valliyoor Police Station, 1/4

Tirunelveli District and conclude the same within a time frame as specified by this Court and to file the final report forthwith. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that based on the complaint given by him case in Crime No.274 of 2022 has been registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 420, 465, 471, 294(b) and 506(i) of IPC. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the case was registered in the year 2022, so far no progress in this matter. Hence, seeking direction to expedite the enquiry, this petition has been filed.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the disputed document in this case has been sent for expert examination. He would further submit that the investigation will be completed within a short time.

4.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation process within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and file the final report before the concerned Court.

5.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
