Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the entire records relating to the auction cum tender notification in Na.Ka.No.1266/2017/A14 dated 09.03.2017, published in Thinathanthi daily dated 10.03.2017 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent herein to conduct auction alone after following all the procedures contemplated under law.

O R D E R

The Petitioner has approached this Court seeking quash of the auction cum tender notification in Na.Ka.No.1266/2017/A14 dated 09.03.2017, published in Thinathanthi daily dated 10.03.2017 and consequently to direct the respondent herein to conduct auction only by following all the procedures contemplated under law. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.P.Aathimoola Pandian, learned Standing Counsel entered appearance on behalf of the respondent and he handed over the intimation notice of the respondent dated 20.03.2017, stating that auction notice issued on 09.02.2017 has been postponed without any announcement of future date. The notice also states that the date will be intimated at an later date for conduct of auction/tender.

3.In view of the submissions made by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent, the present Writ Petition is closed, giving liberty to the petitioner to approach this Court, in case he is aggrieved by fresh notification issued by the respondent Municipality. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed. There is no order as to costs.
